About the role
Wipro is hiring a Data Analyst (Assistant Manager, Data Analytics family) in Gurugram, Haryana.
The role designs, builds, and maintains backend data pipelines and analytical datasets that support large-scale business operations. It focuses on advanced SQL, ETL, and data modelling, plus dashboards in Google’s data ecosystem. This is a core backend data engineering and analytics seat, not a purely reporting job.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Use advanced SQL (Google SQL / BigQuery-style) for extraction, transformation, and aggregation.
- Develop and optimize PLX scripts for backend processing.
- Analyze datasets for trends and translate requirements into data models.
- Build and maintain PLX dashboards and Looker Studio views.
- Partner with stakeholders on scalable, well-governed datasets.
Requirements
Must have
- 4–6 years in backend data engineering or analytics (posting card also shows 3–5 years).
- Advanced SQL in large-scale environments (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).
- ETL processes and data pipeline development.
- Hands-on PLX scripts and PLX dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Structured, process-driven work supporting enterprise clients.
