About the role

Wipro Limited is hiring a Data Architect in Guadalajara (hybrid; Mexico City also possible).

Role purpose: design solution architecture for cross-system interactions and business logic integration, and evolve the enterprise data architecture so cloud data solutions, integrations, and analytics stay aligned with business objectives.

Mandatory skills: Snowflake data engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data architectures, data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and cloud data solutions.
  • Work across data warehousing, relational databases, integrations, CI/CD, and data security.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Flexibility to travel for projects and team meetings.

Nice to have: Databricks, Azure/GCP, enterprise architecture experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve enterprise data architecture for scalable cloud data solutions.
  • Build data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and APIs.
  • Lead technical decisions with stakeholders across teams.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years in data architecture (posting also lists 8–10 years Snowflake data engineering experience).
  • Strong experience with Snowflake, dbt, AWS, SQL, and Python.
  • Data warehousing, relational databases, integrations, CI/CD, and data security.
  • Advanced English.
  • Ability to travel for projects and team meetings.
