We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a System Administrator to work on a contract basis. The role involves managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting technical operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and security oversight for critical systems.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer cloud-based infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls and vulnerability assessments.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and deploy updates.
Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is required.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and command-line operations is essential.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs, is necessary.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving system and application issues.
- Ability to write and maintain scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
- Understanding of IT security principles, including firewalls, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus is a plus.
